The Opportunity
Are you a Chartered Structural Engineer that enjoys problem solving and innovative thinking? Would you like to join a business that is looking to disrupt the UK and International construction market with a new and innovative product that promises to reduce concrete and steel utilisation and enhance sustainability across the sector?
The Civils & Infrastructure Division at Ford & Stanley are recruiting for a Chartered Structural Engineer to join a business that specialises in providing innovative and sustainable products and solutions to the construction & engineering sectors.
Our client is part of a near £1b turnover group of businesses specialising in Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Consultancy, and Logistics solutions.
With the goal of enhancing sustainability across the sector, our client's product can offer both off-the-shelf and bespoke solutions to situations where traditionally reinforced concrete / rebar would be utilised. This product has already been heralded as a game changer for the industry due to its ease of use, precision, and carbon efficient manufacture, in some cases reducing steel use by 80%, with no compromise on quality or performance.
As a Chartered Engineer in this organisation, you will act as Technical lead on a varied portfolio of projects, helping produce and co-ordinate design solutions that meet their clients' objectives.
This role requires a solid communicator, as you will be responsible for co-ordinating activities with Clients, Business Managers, Engineers, and other key internal/external stakeholders, and will actively seek out opportunities to improve and innovate their product offering.
