We have a new opportunity for an experienced HR Manager based in Bedford for one of our clients on a full-time, permanent basis. Our client is a leading production and manufacturing company in the UK. They will also consider part-time applications.
Responsibilities of the HR Manager
1. Oversee core HR functions throughout the employee lifecycle.
2. Lead recruitment and onboarding.
3. Assist with performance management and staff development plans.
4. Manage and mentor the HR Officer.
5. Implement HR policies.
Requirements for a successful HR Manager
1. CIPD level 5/7 qualified.
2. Substantial HR Management experience within a manufacturing environment.
3. Strong understanding of HR best practices and employment law.
4. Strong leadership skills with experience mentoring HR staff.
5. Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
6. Strong negotiation skills.
Summary of the HR Manager role
Salary: £35,000 - £40,000
Location: Bedford
Type of Contract: Permanent
Hours: Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5:30pm
