About the area The School of Human Sciences is a large multi-disciplinary School focused on better understanding what it is to be human, from our structure, function, development, and genetics, to adaptation, performance and evolution. The School is one of the largest in the University and makes a significant contribution to majors in Anatomy and Human Biology, Physiology, Neuroscience, Biomedical Science, Exercise and Health, and Sports Science. The School also houses the Body Donation Program that supports education and research in the Anatomical Sciences across the University. About the opportunity Contribute to high-quality teaching, particularly in Anatomy, across undergraduate and postgraduate levels, including unit coordination, assessment, and administrative duties. Engage in impactful research, producing publications, securing funding, fostering external collaborations, and supervising research students. Contribute to service and governance within the School and University, participating in professional associations, and supporting inclusion, diversity, and strategic planning. About you PhD in an academic field relevant to the discipline. Demonstrated expertise and excellence in teaching human anatomy. Demonstrated ability to deliver high quality teaching approaches, assessments and materials for units and courses. A demonstrable track record in excellence in research evidenced by peer-reviewed journal articles published in high quality journals relative to opportunity. Demonstrable experience of participation in education/research leadership in public engagements that promote research and/or education outcome, government and industry. Proficiency in cadaveric dissection is an essential requirement.
