An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Technical Lead role in Bristol to support valves contracts across my client's sites. This is a valuable and technically stimulating opportunity to work within my client to support both Hinkley Point C (HPC) and Sizewell C (SZC), which are vital parts of the UK’s future energy strategy.
As the first of the UK’s next generation of nuclear power stations, HPC is both high profile and high complexity. As part of the Responsible Designer, my client delivers the design of some of the Nuclear Island (NI) buildings for Hinkley Point C from their Bristol Office and will also replicate the NI design for SZC in the years to come.
As the Technical Lead, you will provide technical oversight of the contract(s), including the surveillance of technical documentation, the management and resolution of open points and changes related to Design, Manufacturing, and Qualification. You will also be responsible for keeping the contract configuration compliant with the project progress. To do this, you will work closely with the relevant disciplines in my client, as well as the client and suppliers to ensure the technical requirements are met. 8. Liaising with RD and client teams to ensure integration of equipment with interfacing functions/systems
9. Liaising with RD and client management teams to communicate progress, risks, issues, and planning to support contract delivery
10. Reporting of KPIs to the CEL
11. Ensuring qualification activities are progressing according to the contract progress and site needs
