This is an interesting and wide-ranging role, which will be suited to a focused & detail-oriented individual who thrives working in a fast-paced environment, is adaptable to change & positively responds to manage a diverse & changeable workload. The successful candidate must be people-orientated, with a positive outlook & easily capable of building and maintaining positive working relationships. Main Duties:Reporting to the Executive Business Director and managing the ICT Services Team.Accountable for the day to day management of ICT Services that support teaching, learning, business & admin functions across the cluster. To effectively line manage the ICT Services staff within the cluster, overseeing their duties. To include; training, mentoring, coaching and apprenticeship support.Project manage all IT related projects and feed into wider Cluster projects which require IT input.Ensure effective Supplier Management policies are in place, managed and measured.Oversee the support of MIS and other admin systems used within the cluster from a technical support perspective.Accountable for documentation and enforcement of all ICT related policies, CCTV access and acceptable use policies.Continuous review of processes to ensure Lean Methodology is applied to everything IT & that processes are fully documented to reduce key person dependency.Support the ‘cloud’ approach of the trust by managing & maintaining the servers for Azure Cloud.Our ideal candidate will have:Experience of website/virtual learning environmentsEvidence of successfully configuring and managing ICT networks, including hardware & software functions to support the day to day functions of all users.Experience of leading & successfully managing a team.Ability to build & maintain appropriate relationships with colleagues and students. Able to lead, develop & motivate a team.Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.Able to demonstrate initiative and prioritise workload\tasks, in particular when under pressure.
