About the role:
We are looking for an Experienced Administrator to support our Purchasing & Systems Lead and play a vital role in shaping the future of the charity. Strong MS Office skills, along with excellent organisation and communication, are essential. This key position involves managing day-to-day administration, coordinating tasks, and ensuring the charity runs efficiently as it grows and evolves.
General tasks:
* Handling relevant incoming and outgoing communications (email/post/phone).
* Dealing with petty cash and banking, including month end reporting to the Bookkeeper.
* Logging housing benefit payments.
* Monitoring stationery and supplies inventories.
* Organising repairs/maintenance for properties and services as required.
* Admin support with recruitment including DBS checks and chasing references.
* Attending and minuting meetings where required.
* Assisting Purchaser where required.
* Supporting our Fundraising Manager with fundraising-related admin tasks as needed.
* Support team with events where appropriate.
* Attend training were necessary.
* Other tasks as directed.
* Adhere to all the policies and procedures of York Road Project.
