This role will focus primarily on report writing rather than operational or administrative tasks, making it an excellent opportunity for a technically strong paraplanner looking to specialise in research and analysis. About the Role As a Paraplanner, you will provide technical support to advisers, producing high-quality suitability reports and conducting in-depth research to support financial planning recommendations. The role requires a strong understanding of investments, pensions, and tax planning, with a keen eye for detail and compliance. Key Responsibilities Preparing detailed suitability reports and recommendations following client meetings. Conducting technical research and analysis on investment, pension, and tax planning solutions. Ensuring reports are in line with regulatory requirements and internal compliance standards. Supporting advisers with complex financial planning scenarios, providing accurate and well-structured reports. Keeping up to date with legislative changes, tax implications, and market developments to ensure the best client outcomes. Liaising with advisers to ensure client objectives and financial plans are clearly documented and supported with robust research. About You Qualifications: Diploma-qualified (CII Level 4 Financial Planning or equivalent) - essential. Experience: A minimum of two years’ experience as a Paraplanner within a wealth management or financial planning firm. Skills: Strong report writing ability, excellent analytical skills, and high attention to detail. Knowledge: Deep understanding of pensions, investments, tax planning, and financial planning products. Tech: Proficiency in CRM systems (Xplan preferred) and MS Word/Excel. What’s on Offer?
