Job Title: Real Estate Finance – Core Real Estate Financial Reporting & Operations Analyst Role and Responsibilities The Firm is looking to recruit an Analyst to work as part of the Financial Reporting & Operations team covering Blackstone’s Core real estate funds; including Blackstone Property Partners Europe (“BPPE”) and Blackstone European Property Income Fund (“BEPIF”). In this role, the Analyst will be an integral member of the Real Estate Finance team in London focusing on financial reporting and operations. The focus of the team is to produce timely and accurate financial information for reporting to investors, other external and internal stakeholders. The team aims for best-in-class business partnering with all Blackstone Real Estate departments including Business Strategy, Asset Management, Transactions, Capital Markets and Investor Relations. The Analyst will have the opportunity to participate in an array of projects and will be expected to assume a key role on the team. Primary responsibilities will include: Investor transactions: working closely with internal teams and external advisors to support investor subscriptions, redemptions and distributions; liaising with stakeholders to ensure sufficient cash is available when and where required; coordinate with Revantage Luxembourg (a Blackstone portfolio company) and Asset Management teams to monitor cash available for distribution to support the Funds’ distribution policies. Debt management and reporting: support internal and external reporting of financial information for external debt in the Funds (including bonds, revolving credit facilities, secured and unsecured facilities); monitoring debt facilities; covenant forecasting and reporting lenders. Cash management: monitoring the Funds’ cash and liquidity needs to support effective working capital management, including maximising interest income through effective use of treasury instruments/deposits. Annual and interim financial statements: supporting preparation of BEPIF and BPPEH (BPPE’s listed bond issuer) financial statements. Supporting the project management of external audits. Valuations: work closely with the Valuation team to ensure timely and accurate debt and fund financial information is included in the Funds’ NAV. Automation: Identify and implement operational improvements to existing processes and drive implementation of technology initiatives. Oversight and review of various activities, (e.g. cash movements, interest and debt repayments, distributions process at deal level). Develop management experience: oversight and review of activities performed by Revantage Luxembourg and growing the use of the Centre of Excellence team in India. The successful candidate must have: Degree and ACCA/ACA qualified (or equivalent accounting qualification) 2 years post-qualification experience in an accounting / finance role (either in industry or in an audit capacity) Prior experience in real estate and/or asset management sectors is a significant advantage Excellent Excel skills, including experience of building analysis from large/unstructured data Confidence to build relationships and be a key contact point for a range of senior stakeholders Confident and inquisitive mindset that seeks to fully understand, be accountable for, and improve delivery of their responsibilities. Ability to multi-task and execute a wide range of assignments, strong time management skills, and attention to detail Willingness to take on additional projects or support others in the department outside their direct responsibilities.
