Job Title: Primary Teacher - Maternity Cover
Location: South West England, Wiltshire, Salisbury
Job Type: Temporary, expected to work Full-Time hours
Salary: £145 - £160 Per day
Job Duties: Assume the role of the class teacher by doing the following...
(SP2) -
Year 5
Starting: 2nd December ideally for handover, current teacher leave starts 13th December.
Until: The end of the 24-25 academic year, at the earliest.
SP4) -
Year 4
Starting: January 2025. Handover to take place in December 2024.
Until: The end of the 24-25 academic year, at the earliest.
* Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons to primary school students
* Assess and evaluate students' progress and provide feedback
* Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
* Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support student development
* Follow the school's policies and procedures
* Interact with students, colleagues, and parents on a daily basis
* Adhere to school policies and regulations
Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Enhanced DBS certificate on the update service
* Experience teaching in a primary school setting
* Knowledge of the UK national curriculum
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Knowledge and Skills:
* Understanding of child development and effective teaching methods
* Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners
* Excellent classroom management skills
