Health Visitor (Band 7)
Location: Sandwell and Birmingham NHS Hospitals
Employment: Full-term & Part time, permanent – 37.5hrs a week + flexible working options!
Salary: Band 7: £43,742 – £50,056 per annum + benefits

Role overview:
As a Health Visitor, you’ll play a crucial role in delivery of the Healthy Child Programme to all eligible children and families.
1. Carrying out ongoing health needs assessments for all children and families within the community
2. To provide health visiting support and advice within the community and clinic setting
3. Overseeing the delivery of Universal service key touch points, ensuring they are within required timescales, according to the service model to meet targets
4. Working as part of team of wider team including: GPs, Midwives, Early Years Workers and Children’s Centre staff
5. Supporting the management of the service

The Ideal Candidate:
12. Registered General Nurse with Degree/Diploma in Health Visiting desirable, but not essential
13. 5 + years community, health visiting or district nursing experience
14. Qualified Nurse Prescriber
15. An understanding of the knowledge and skills for the development, implementation and evaluation of programmes of Health Promotion
