ABOUT YOU We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented GIS Consultant to join our team. The successful candidate will provide expert-level support in geographic information system (GIS) analysis, mapping, and data management, offering solutions for clients in various industries. Required skills and experience: BSc or MSc in GIS, Geography, Environmental, Data Science or a related discipline Experience using ArcGIS Products (E.g. ArcPro, ArcMap and ArcGIS Online (minimum 2 –4 years’ relevant experience) Confident working with data in a variety of different coordinate systems, and knowledge of data transformations and coordinate formats Ability to resolve complex spatial queries using GIS methodologies and tools and present results effectively to end users Ability to design visually impressive materials Able to operate to high quality standards Flexible and able to multi-task with a variety of projects and people ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY This is an excellent career opportunity to join an established, friendly, supportive, marine consulting team with aspirations for growth in the UK, Ireland and Internationally. Key activities: Responsible for the production and analysis of data and maps to deliver products, services and web applications. Collecting, managing and analysing geographical data. Spatial and 3D analysis. Developing and maintaining mapping applications and tools. Using coding and automation to deliver efficient workflows. Updating and maintaining in-house data library. Responsible for updating any GIS related software and/or hardware, liaising with Intertek IT team as required.
