Job Description
Reporting to the Business Sector Manager, the Marine Services Project Manager is responsible for all aspects related to the delivery of marine services projects. This includes such matters as personnel management, planning of operations, customer contacts, finances, SHE-Q, reports, contacts with centralised support departments. The Marine Services Project Manager actively participates in the acquisition of new contracts by providing bid writing support. For more details, click the link.
Your Main Tasks:
13. Act as RSACT Contract Equipment and Platform Authority (EPA)
14. Ensure all operations are carried out safely and efficiently in accordance with Company way of working (WoW) and client requirements
15. Promote the NINA behavioural safety programme
16. Proactively manage absence with support from HR and Occupational Health
17. Manages the operation within agreed budget and raises awareness of potential variance to budget
18. Responsible for liaison with the client to ensure that contract deliverables are met and customer satisfaction levels remain high
19. Responsible for ensuring that the RSACT Contract Management Plans are reviewed as required and any associated registers are kept up to date
20. Responsible for collecting and maintaining data to monitor actual performance against contracted performance and reporting these on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis to the Company and where necessary the Client
21. Responsible for Service Delivery Risk Management
22. Responsible for maximising opportunities to increase revenue and decrease costs
23. Provide bid writing support for Marine Services tenders
24. Deputises for Business Sector Manager if required
Required Knowledge and Experience to make your mark as Marine Services Project Manager:
essential requirements:

26. Higher level academic qualification appropriate to the role
27. Relevant marine services contract management experience
28. Knowledge of contractual and regulatory legislation relating to marine services contracts
29. Experience of working to agreed budgets
30. Experience of developing and reviewing management plans/registers
31. Experience of bid writing for marine services contracts
32. Demonstrable experience of managing and motivating a project team based on functional reporting to ensure contract deliverables are met in a timely manner
