We are looking for a dedicated and committed individual who is highly motivated, skilled, and experienced Registered Manager to manage a two bedded children's home within Northamptonshire for children with emotional and behavioural difficulties.
Duties will include:
* Managing individual and team performance
* Ensuring all expenditure is monitored, controlled, and accounted for
* Planning, reviewing, and designing care plans
* Working knowledge of the statutory requirements
* Staff development
* Managing rotas
* Supervision and appraisals
* Maintaining the homes to the highest standards
* Supporting staff through Diploma 3/4 level qualifications and in-house training
You will need extensive knowledge of the children's homes regulations and at least 2 years experience working within a children's residential setting.
NVQ level 5 (or recognised equivalent) or be willing to undertake the Level 5 Management qualification, a good knowledge of child development issues, and extensive knowledge of all current legislation that is needed to operate a Good/Excellent Home and service.
You will need excellent communication skills, both written and spoken, and the ability to work to the highest standards whilst under pressure.

Schedule:
* Monday to Friday
* Some evening and weekends where service requires
* On-Call rota system
Experience:
* Recent working with Children as a Deputy Manager/Manager: 2 years
Licence/Certification:
* Driving Licence Essential
* NVQ Level 5 in Leadership and Management (preferred)
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £45,000.00-£55,000.00 per year
