In the UK, Safran Seats specializes solely in the First Class and Business Class seating markets for wide-body aircraft, with industrial and engineering teams in Cwmbran and Newport, Wales, and Brackley, England.
The purpose of this role is to be responsible for a single, medium complexity programme or multiple low complexity programmes running concurrently.
Key Responsibilities
1. Compliance with contractual commitments and ensuring customer satisfaction within this scope.
2. Meeting objectives assigned by the Company and being responsible for ensuring that the Business Plan(s) are met within their scope of accountability.
3. Leading the Integrated Programme Team as a Matrix Manager.
4. Coordinate and manage all aspects of the programme (performance, cost, quality, deadlines) throughout the Programme from Development through Manufacture and into Service.
5. Customer Liaison and Engagement.
6. Manage Product Configuration and Programme Changes.
7. Manage Programme Risks and Opportunities.
Job Requirements
1. Proven Programme Management experience: Demonstrated experience managing large, complex programmes within aerospace, automotive, or a similarly regulated industry.
2. Educational background: Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering or a related field.
3. Technical knowledge: Strong understanding of technical and regulatory standards for aerospace products.
4. Leadership and resilience.
5. Customer-centric mindset.
