For 200 years, our crews have been risking their lives to save those who are in danger of drowning. We’re looking for three new Marketing Apprentices to join an established programme within our busy Fundraising, Marketing and Media team. You’ll work on campaigns to generate income, share safety messages and, ultimately, help save more lives. Starting in September, this 2-year apprenticeship (level 4) would suit a highly motivated individual who is looking to begin a career in Marketing. Your Role Our Marketing team generates funds and raises awareness to keep the RNLI’s lifesaving and prevention work sustainable. Whether it’s working on our youth Stormforce membership or helping to organise an event the variety and exposure to award winning marketing and fundraising campaigns is second to none. You will also gain plenty of experience of the end to end marketing and communications process. You will spend much of the week based at our RNLI Support Centre in Poole and will have the opportunity to work across different teams and specialisms. Your programme will include 6-month placements in teams across the department, including: Campaign and Engagement Marketing Individual Giving and Legacy Marketing Creative Services, Supporter Care and Insights Social Media and External Communications Retail Marketing Alongside your work, you will be studying for your Level 4 qualification (Marketing Executive Apprenticeship) with Cambridge Marketing College, which will involve online study and support throughout from your manager and from a dedicated tutor. You’ll be comfortable working with lots of different stakeholders, will be highly organised, structured and with a strong eye for detail and accuracy. You will need to embrace the study elements of your apprenticeship, making the most of every opportunity to learn and develop.
