Are you ready to lead the flow? We are currently on the look out for an experienced supervisor!
This is your chance to play a key role in shaping and expanding our services as we maintain, clean, and survey vital sewage infrastructure across Somerset, Gloucester and Dorset. As a Supervisor, you'll be at the forefront, supporting our Operations Manager to ensure top-notch service delivery. Your days will be a dynamic mix of on-site supervision, internal audits, and staff training-making a real impact where it matters most!
More about the role:
* Promote a safe working environment in line with policies on Health & Safety.
* First line supervision of operational team.
* First point of contact for CCTV & Jetting Engineers - Taking responsibility for Health & Safety practices on site, including compliance, policies and procedures.
* Resource management to ensure correct personnel and equipment are on site on time.
* Ensure completed contract paperwork is handed in and CCTV data and drawings are transferred in a timely manner upon completion of site works.
* Complete quality checks and health & safety site audits.
* Onsite support and supervision.
* Oversee and organise external training for staff.
* Conduct site visits and inspections.
* Complete Health & Safety inductions for all new employees and continual refresher training for existing staff.
* Carry out toolbox talks.
* Oversee the accuracy and quality of job sheets .
About you:
* We are looking for someone who has been working within the sewage industry, preferably with a range of drainage experience.
* It is desirable but not essential to have had previous health & safety responsibilities for individuals and sites.
* Ability to navigate CRM database.
* Good communication and customer service skill.
* Full clean UK driving licence.
* Right to work in the UK.
Guidance and extensive training will be given to the successful candidate.
