Job Title: Employability Practitioner
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Employability Practitioner to join our team at Southdowns Work & Wellbeing Service in West Sussex.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who has experience in providing one-to-one support to individuals accessing treatment for mental health issues, with the goal of helping them regain employment and improve their overall wellbeing.
You will be working closely with the Neighbourhood Mental Health Team, co-located within the Sussex Partnership Foundation Trust, with some flexibility to work remotely and in community-based settings.
This role requires a collaborative approach, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to adapt to changing circumstances.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of mental health issues and employability strategies, with experience in supporting vulnerable individuals to achieve their goals.

Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide one-to-one support to individuals accessing treatment for mental health issues
* Collaborate with the Neighbourhood Mental Health Team to develop effective employability strategies
* Work with clients to set and achieve personal goals, including employment and education
* Maintain accurate records and reports on client progress
Requirements:
* Degree in a relevant field (e.g. social work, psychology, education)
* Experience in providing support services to vulnerable individuals
* Strong understanding of mental health issues and employability strategies
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
