The role we’re hiring for is a Field Manager to join our team based in the South of England. This position involves overseeing maintenance, risk assessments, small works, and pre-commissioning tasks while ensuring high standards of safety and compliance. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership abilities, excellent communication skills, and a hands-on approach to managing projects and supporting engineering teams. What you receive for joining us: We’re looking to offer a salary of £35,000 - £45,000. In addition, you will get a company vehicle that can be used for personal use, a fuel card, uniform, PPE, and a company phone. Here’s a look at some of the things you’ll be doing: Oversee and lead maintenance, risk assessments, small works, and pre-commissioning tasks across various projects, ensuring all tasks are completed to a high standard and within set timelines Support the Team Leader in planning, coordinating, and implementing works, including new contract mobilisations, client meetings, and first-visit inductions for seamless project execution Conduct competence assessments for the engineering team, identifying training needs and supporting the development of staff skills through ongoing training and evaluations Ensure all safety, quality, and compliance standards are met across projects while maintaining clear and effective communication with internal teams, clients, and external stakeholders Can you show experience in some of these areas: Experience in overseeing maintenance, risk assessments, and small works, with a focus on ensuring compliance with industry standards Strong understanding of safety regulations and the ability to enforce adherence to H&S policies and procedures across teams and job sites Proven experience in leading teams, conducting competence assessments, and identifying training needs within an engineering or technical team Familiarity with industry regulations such as HSG274, a valid CSCS card, and strong problem-solving and communication skills to manage client relationships and project updates Do you see yourself reflected in the description above?
