JOB SUMMARY
As Compensation Analyst you’ll be responsible for supporting the design, implementation, and administration of the company’s compensation programs/initiatives. The role will involve analysing market data, preparing reports, providing insights to support decision-making, and ensuring that our reward strategies are competitive and aligned with business objectives.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Assisting the Head of Total Rewards - International with coordination of the following cyclical activities: annual salary planning, salary range compilation and International Bonus planning.
2. Building Excel-based tools to enable the team to calculate and record analysis efficiently and accurately.
3. Collating and presenting results of data analysis via Excel or PowerPoint.
4. Salary benchmarking and appraisal (against internal and external market), occasionally working with limited data.
5. Levelling roles on an ad hoc basis based on the Global Levelling Framework.
6. Communicating with HR contacts across UK & International in order to collate or distribute information in relation to Compensation related activities.
7. Assessing all compensation movement requests (Promotions, salary adjustments, transfers, data corrections, etc.) on Workday.
8. Data input into appropriate trackers and templates.
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE
1. Degree holder in Human Resources Management or related disciplines.
2. Strong interpersonal skills, i.e. able to effectively communicate with a variety of business partners based on their needs.
3. Proficient in Excel. Vlookups, IF statements, Pivot tables and familiarity with a wide range of Excel formulas are essential to the role.
4. Working knowledge of HR systems, ideally Workday, with knowledge of the Willis Towers Watson global grading methodology.
5. Able to easily understand and calculate percentages, pro-rata’d amounts, interpret statistics and deal with mathematical concepts related to compensation.
6. Creative problem solver, able to solve complex problems despite limited data and/or policy/process restrictions without compromising integrity.
7. Previous compensation experience will be a strong advantage.
8. Readiness to learn, no matter your experience level.
9. Self-starter able to work on own initiative with excellent organisation and prioritisation skills.
10. Demonstrates strong attention to detail and accuracy.
