Bagging & Dispatch Operative Artigarvan, County Tyrone Lakeland Dairies Co-operative Society Limited (The Group) is the second largest dairy processor on the island of Ireland. The Groups Agribusiness Division (Lakeland Agri) operates a state-of-the-art Animal Feed Manufacturing Facility and is a leading and innovative provider of the highest quality feeds and agricultural inputs to dairy, beef, and sheep farmers across the north and south of Ireland. Applications are invited for the above position that will be based at our Artigarvan Site in County Tyrone. The Role Reporting to our Area Manager/Supervisor, our Bagging & Dispatch Operatives play a key role in our site operations by packing, storing, loading and dispatching finished product in-line with Corporate, Quality and Health & Safety standards. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity that works on a 4 on 4 off shift system which includes both day shift and night shift. Key responsibilities will include (Not limited to): Ensure production operations are conducted in adherence to all company standards for Hygiene, Health and Safety and workplace cleanliness; Operation of bagging lines and palletiser machinery; The loading of products into containers and vehicles; The inspection of incoming supplies that are needed in production areas; The operation of forklifts & Pallet Trucks; Ensure the safe storage of products in onsite stores at all times; Complete production documentation (Quality, H&S records etc); Provide cover for other departments as and when required; Undertake any other duties as required in delivering effective/efficient milk production. The Person The successful applicant will possess: The ability to work on their own initiative defining, planning and managing their workload; Possess strong attention to detail ensuring accuracy and presentation of information and be able to follow processes; Possess excellent IT skills Microsoft packages (Excel, Word) and be able to record and analyse data. Relevant experience from within a food manufacturing environment and/or a Food Safety/Hygiene qualification would be advantageous.
