Denbies Wine Estate, one of the largest vineyards in the UK, is currently recruiting for an experienced and knowledgeable Restaurant Manager to head Denbies Restaurants. This will be a customer-facing line management role and to lead a dynamic team.
The Restaurant Manager will take overall accountability for the operation of Denbies Restaurants, including Health & Safety. As the Restaurant Manager, you will be working closely with the Catering Manager and Operations Manager to deliver high-quality service to our guests.
Responsibilities:
1. Take responsibility for the Restaurants performance
2. Analyse and plan restaurants sales levels profitability
3. Meet and greet customers and take reservations.
4. Knowledge of Food and Wine is essential.
5. Maintain the standard of quality control, hygiene, and health & safety
6. Check stock levels and ordering supplies
7. Managing and motivating staff
Requirements:
1. Excellent customer service
2. Good verbal and written communication skills
3. A positive ‘can-do’ attitude
4. Minimum of 4 GCSE’S including Maths and English
5. Working towards a Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Hospitality Supervision and Leadership
6. Experience in Restaurant Management is essential
7. Minimum 3 years’ experience within a similar role is essential

This is a full-time permanent role working 5 days out of 7, which will also include working evenings and weekends.
