Dumfries and Galloway NHS have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, highly motivated Cardiac Physiologist specialising in Echo to join our busy and friendly team. We are lucky to have a highly skilled and experienced team of Echo Physiologists at Dumfries and Galloway Royal Infirmary (DGRI).
The successful candidate will be BSE accredited with post accreditation experience and be competent to issue independent echo reports. You will be expected to liaise effectively with the clinical lead technician in echocardiography to ensure that department and BSE guidelines are maintained and to make sure that the guidelines are up-to-date and relevant to current clinical and technical practice.
Our service provides a range of diagnostic services, including outpatient and inpatient Echo (adult and paediatric), Stress Echo (DSE), Bubble, Contrast, Adult and Paediatric Congenital clinics. The department hours are Monday to Friday 0830-1700. There is Echo cover over 2 sites - Dumfries and Galloway Royal Infirmary and Galloway Community Hospital, Stranraer.
