About the Role: We are seeking a dynamic Employability Tutor to join our team at Good Works Bromley. In this role, you will collaborate with the Bromley Good Works Project Manager to develop a high-quality training program in partnership with Bromley Jobcentre Plus. Your primary focus will be supporting DWP Universal Credit customers, working closely with DWP Work Coaches and the College Skills Team. You will deliver independent career guidance and training, ensuring successful learning and job outcomes. Key Responsibilities: Collaborative Work: Work with DWP and candidates to expand training opportunities, including running training programs, workshops, sector-based initiatives, and securing employment and apprenticeship placements. Employer Engagement: Engage with regional employers to identify job opportunities aligned with our training programs, aiming to secure interviews and employment for our learners. Training Delivery: Plan, organize, and conduct training workshops and sessions, create engaging content, deliver effective presentations, and assess participant progress. Essential Criteria: Strong communication skills at all levels Ability to work independently and be self-motivated Proven customer service skills Experience in sales and marketing, including cold calling Administrative experience Full UK driving license and ability to travel within and occasionally outside the region Proficiency in IT skills Key Duties: Develop and maintain relationships with external organizations Engage with key stakeholders for effective marketing Identify and promote courses to learners and referral sources Market course provisions and generate leads Interview potential learners, provide guidance, and keep records Conduct initial assessments and communicate support requirements Maintain learner tracking details and coordinate with tutors and assessors Develop relationships with employers to secure employment opportunities for post-qualification students Promote services and identify employment opportunities through local partnerships Respond to client inquiries and provide necessary support Attend promotional events and represent the company Maintain learner contact during training and handle disciplinary issues Complete recruitment documentation accurately and timely Communicate effectively with staff about daily activities Uphold company values and expected behaviors Promote equal opportunities and diversity Comply with Safeguarding, Prevent, and Health and Safety Policies Ensure confidentiality and professionalism at all times About You About Us The College London South East Colleges is a successful and innovative College operating with sites across Bromley, Bexley, Orpington, Greenwich and Lambeth.
