An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Financial Assessment Officer to join our fast paced, well-established Client Finance Assessment Team. The role involves undertaking means tested assessments for Adult Social Care so you will be expected to have knowledge of the relevant charging legislation and the type of Benefits a person may be eligible to receive.
We are seeking to appoint a Financial Assessment Officer who can complete accurate and timely financial assessments for Adult Social Care customers in accordance with legislation, policies, case law, and the working practices and procedures of the Council.
You will also be expected to demonstrate that you can provide excellent customer care by telephone, letter, in person on visits, as required and to support colleagues and partners in prioritising customer needs.
This is a demanding role in a fast-paced environment and to succeed you must thrive in a busy environment and have the ability to prioritise workloads.
