Will be working as Band 6 Charge Nurse on Capener-ACE Unit which is a 20 bed capacity unit. You will be expected to be in charge on the ward, facilitating discharge and pulling frail patients identified as ACE patient or frail patient as needing an ACE bed. You will be working with a multidisciplinary team comprising of Consultants, Registered Nurses, OT/PT, and ACE specialist nurses. We are looking for applicants with good leadership skills that is passionate to look after frail patients and help to improve our service. Also a good team leader with teaching skills that will help staff to progress or reach their potential. This role also has managerial responsibilities for the nursing staff in the ward; the applicant will be expected to manage sickness, appraisals and performance.

Job responsibilities
The applicant will need to be responsible for being in charge of the unit, help facilitate discharges and ensuring ACE identified patients will be pulled up to the ward. Work with the multidisciplinary team to improve the service. The applicant will be working as a registered nurse caring for frail patients and understanding the risk and care needs. Applicants are expected to have good leadership and managerial skills.
Working Pattern: 37.5 hours per week
