One of the key areas we connect with clients and further strengthen the Citi brand across our stakeholders is through strategic client events and conferences. The size of these varies from a select few strategic forums which are global, cross-business and highly visible, to smaller scaled regional events - all of which represent Citi and are part of the investment we make in client connectivity and brand building.
We are seeking a Client Engagement Coordinator for global events to work across all business lines, including Client, Banking, Capital Markets and Advisory; Markets; Treasury and Trade Solutions; Securities Services; and Citi Commercial Bank. The Coordinator will be expected to work across these business lines to enhance client connectivity and support Citi's brand.
Responsibilities:
1. Own and organize bilateral meetings across all strategic forums, including:
2. Client prioritization and outreach for senior management attendees
3. Acting as the liaison across all businesses
4. Coordination of client lists, briefing documents and biographies
5. On-site point of contact for client meetings (travel required)
6. Ensuring compliance to all Citi meeting policies as it relates to gifts & entertainment
7. Ensuring post event client meeting tracking in relevant system for each business, including:
8. All client meetings entered onto business CRM calendar (ie, Velocity, Toolbox, etc.) for monitoring of high-profile events
9. Coordination with various teams to collate attendee details
10. Responsible for measurement, reporting and monitoring of key client activities and meetings
11. Tracking meetings on, CRM, Velocity, etc.
12. Coordination of monthly reviews and reporting
13. Partnering with Finance to evaluate event effectiveness through evaluation of key performance indicators
Qualifications:
1. Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
2. Ability to coordinate and build relationships across various levels and functions
3. Experience in coordinating bilateral meetings and strategic events
4. Understanding of key business clients and priorities
5. Strong communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
6. Project management skills
7. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
8. Understanding of risk and control functions and the impact on marketing engagement
9. Experience of working with Government official protocols an advantage
Education:
1. Bachelor's Degree/University degree or equivalent experience
