Our Real Estate Disputes and Farms, Estates, and Rural Land teams are expanding, and we are looking for a dedicated Legal Support Assistant to join us. As a Legal Support Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our lawyers with a variety of administrative and secretarial tasks. Your contributions will be essential to the efficient delivery of our legal services, particularly in the areas of real estate disputes and rural land transactions. Key Responsibilities: Document Preparation: Drafting, formatting, and proofreading legal documents, including contracts and correspondence. Communication Management: Handling incoming and outgoing communications, managing phone calls, emails, and messages. Scheduling and Coordination: Managing lawyers' diaries, scheduling appointments, and organising meetings and travel arrangements. File Management: Organising and maintaining case files, ensuring compliance with legal and firm standards. Court and Client Interaction: Assisting with court filings and supporting client meetings. Research Support: Conducting legal research and gathering relevant information to assist lawyers. Administrative Support: Managing billing, timekeeping, and other administrative tasks to support the legal team. What we’re looking for: Proactive Support: Ability to understand and address the needs of lawyers and the wider team. Client Interaction: Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain positive relationships with clients. Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail and excellent prioritisation skills. Organisational Skills: Strong organisational skills with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in MS Office and a willingness to learn new software packages.
