I am currently working exclusively with a well-established organisation, based in Preston, who are currently recruiting for a HR Administrator / HR Advisor within the team. This is an exciting opportunity to support the HR team on all HR matters throughout the employee life cycle, including onboarding, visa processing, employee engagement, wellbeing, learning and development, employee relations, and offboarding. The organisation has very flexible working policies and is well known within the industry.
Your new role
* As an HR Administrator, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks that ensure the smooth operation of HR activities.
* Your duties will include coordinating pre-employment checks, preparing and processing employee contracts, and being the first point of contact for new starters.
* You will also support the production and updates of onboarding materials, assist with recruitment administration, and manage the end-to-end process for leavers.
* Additionally, you will handle reports and administration related to probation reviews, performance reviews, and salary processes.
* Your role will also involve supporting reward and benefits activities, maintaining employee files, and providing general HR support.
What you'll need to succeed
* To be successful in this role, you will need to have previous experience within an HR environment.
* *Please note CIPD is desirable but not essential.
* To be highly organised with excellent attention to detail and strong administrative and communication skills.
* You should enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and be able to handle tasks with strict confidentiality and discretion.
* Previous HR experience within a professional services environment is desirable.
* You should have extensive knowledge of Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams, with experience using HR systems.
* Excellent organisational skills, the ability to work independently and as part of a team, and a proactive, positive attitude are essential.
