Talent Acquisition Specialist - 12 Month FTC
£24,000 - £27,000 + Pension + BUPA + ShareSave + 6.6 weeks holiday + Hybrid Working

To attract, source and screen the best candidates for store-based vacancies within specific regions, focusing on improving the quality of hire and customer experience. To act as a brand ambassador, helping to communicate our employer brand in a way that creates engaged talent pools for future requirements.
Key responsibilities
* Advertises vacancies via our applicant tracking system and careers site, as well as with local contacts, to attract the best candidates
* Uses sourcing channels where necessary to fulfil priority or niche requirements
* Manages all vacancies and candidates within the agreed process and timescales
* Maintains candidate talent pools for volume and difficult to fill requirements in a specific business area(s)
* Builds relationships with B&Q Store Managers within regional responsibility, to ensure strong collaboration and alignment
* Builds an understanding of local demographics and geographical challenges and applies this knowledge to improve the speed and quality of recruitment delivery
* Manages candidates through the recruitment process in a positive way, ensuring that they remain advocates of B&Q and Kingfisher, regardless of the outcome
* Offers best practice guidance to hiring managers, empowering them to support the process through local activity
* Schedules, conducts and documents telephone interviews to ensure that the candidate screening process is followed effectively
* Arranges selection events with hiring managers and candidates within agreed service levels
* Delivers constructive and objective feedback to candidates following selection events
* Supports other members of the team as required, ensuring the overall store team recruitment process is as consistent as possible
* Takes responsibility for personal diary management, effective prioritisation and allocation of work ensuring the recruitment process adheres to the agreed service level
Required skills & experience
* Works with hiring managers in stores to effectively advise, coach and support recruitment needs.
* Communicates effectively with peers and Managers in the Talent Acquisition team to maintain high levels of consistency and productivity.
* Supports the Employer Brand and Attraction Partner by acting as a brand advocate.
We are planning to conduct interviews with the successful applicants on Monday, 28th and Tuesday, 29th of October.
