As a Mental Health and Wellbeing Practitioner, you will play a pivotal role in the success of our students through: Providing a high-quality student intervention provision to address the mental wellbeing of students to improve social, emotional and mental health outcomes for students and for students to thrive in their college life. Supporting and developing learner support strategies through workshops and one to one work. Undertaking holistic assessments of mental health and advise managers accordingly in how to support learners. Where appropriate, working with other internal and external professionals to formulate support plans for learners. About you: Level 4 or Post-graduate Diploma or in Counselling or Psychotherapy BACP Accreditation or willingness to work towards accreditation Counselling Supervision qualification Recent experience of working successfully with young people and adults in a counselling / early help capacity for a minimum of 3 years Experience of providing counselling supervision to clients Experience of supporting young people in crisis Experience of working effectively with people from diverse backgrounds Evidence of understanding how to promote equality and diversity within the job role Experience of using Microsoft Office applications Successful candidates must also be able to demonstrate alignment to our organisational VISION values: Valuing Teamwork - We are one team who by working together can achieve great things, respecting the opinion and valuing the contribution each of us makes.
