KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: - To undertake all designated duties on all site machinery and facilities - Fault finding and root cause analysis - Recognising requirements for spares - Compliance to all company requirements covering safety, legal compliance and cost - Working as part of a team when required across all disciplines - Correct and complete correction of all documentation required - Being flexible assisting that Factory Engineering cover is achieved at all times - Driving improvements in operations, department processes and key factory KPIs QUALIFICATIONS: - Recognised technical qualifications - ONC / HNC in an Maintenance Engineering discipline preferably Electrical and Electronic bias KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, EXPERIENCE - Mechanical and Electrical knowledge (e.g. Pneumatics and Hydraulics, 3 phase distribution and simple control techniques/ PLC controls) - PC Literate - Carton Manufacture experience preferably Lithographic Sheet Fed Printing experience (desirable) - Maintenance engineering background, preferably experience of 5 years - Able to multitask - Prioritise workload and plan outstanding work - Lean / TPM background (desirable) - Background on process improvement and root cause mentality Smurfit Westrock (NYSE:SW) is a global leader in sustainable paper and packaging solutions.
