Lead a high-performing Events team, converting inquiries into confirmed bookings and driving up-selling within the department and hotel.
* Manage team performance through recruitment, training, problem resolution, coaching, succession planning, and accountability.
* Conduct regular performance reviews and implement development plans.
* Foster a cooperative working culture, maximising productivity and Team Member morale.
* Deal with events enquiries, ensuring high lead conversion and protecting existing client relationships.
* Identify opportunities to up-sell hotel areas and food and beverage, maximising revenues.
* Meet event revenue targets and efficiently communicate with hotel departments.
* Stay up-to-date with industry trends and implement strategies to maintain market position.
* Record inquiries accurately and create detailed BEO function sheets.
Requirements:
* 3-5 years of hotel experience in hotel events sales.
* Confident and dynamic speaker, able to communicate effectively with all levels.
* High-performance culture leader, setting clear expectations and holding team accountable.
* Ability to use and train Opera and Delphi software.
* Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
* Able to multi-task and work under pressure, devising solutions to challenges.
