PRIMARY SCHOOL SEN TEACHING ASSISTANT

Salary:
£95 per day
Job Duties:
Provide one-on-one support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a classroom setting
Assist with the implementation of the Education Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) tailored to each student's needs
Support the teacher in delivering personalised learning activities and interventions
Help students with SEN to develop their academic and social skills
Monitor and record student progress, and report back to the teacher
Required Qualifications:
Experience working with children or young adults with SEN
Knowledge of SEN strategies and interventions
Education:
Minimum of a level 4/5 in GCSE English and Maths
Experience:
Prior experience working with students with Special Educational Needs
Knowledge and Skills:
Understanding of SEN support strategies
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications:
Additional training in specific areas of SEN, such as autism or dyslexia
Working Conditions:
Work primarily in a classroom setting
Full-Time hours, Monday to Friday

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
