Role: Datacentre Engineer

The Role:
We are looking for a Datacentre / Break fix server engineer for a 12-month project to work on HP, Dell & IBM Servers, server provisioning, rack, stack & configure servers.
Additional Responsibilities:
1. Troubleshoot hardware faults and arrange replacements.
2. Install and decommission redundant equipment.
3. Provide expert hardware support.
4. Responsible for proactive updating of customer and resolution of service.
5. Co-operate and work closely with all members of the support team to ensure efficient, productive and high-quality technical support and customer service to customers within the live Data Centre.
6. Liaise with onsite support engineers and within other sites.
7. Manage all incoming calls and emails to the data centre support function.
8. Respond to customers within agreed SLA.
9. Escalation processes: tickets to support management and other teams as required.
10. Escalate tickets to 2nd line against agreed timescales and continue to monitor these tickets to resolution.
Skills:
* Candidates need to be HP and/or Dell accredited.
Note: Shift work will be involved.
