Monday- Friday (08:15-3:45) term time only. - No prior teaching qualifications/ experience in the classroom, but has experience with challenging behaviour. - Assist the class teacher in providing tailored educational support to students. - Provide one-on-one support and guidance to children, either individually or in small groups. - The potential of a contract with the school to the success candidate The successful candidate will: - Ideally (but not essential) has experience working with children. Very desirable if you have worked with children with SEN/ SEMH needs - Ideally (but not essential) has experience working with adults and/ or adults with disabilities. - Be confident, proactive and understanding working with challenging behaviour. - Has experience with de-escalating challenging behaviour and possess excellent behaviour management skills - Look forward to making every day exciting in the classroom and making a safe space for the students. - A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their development.
