Were working with a respected organisation in the South West who are looking to bring a Tenant Participation Officer on board to support their Homes and Landlord Services team. About the Role: Youll be at the heart of driving resident engagement and tenant participation across housing services. This is a great opportunity to take the lead on various projects and initiatives aimed at increasing involvement and building stronger, more inclusive communities. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage projects that promote tenant involvement within the housing service. Develop effective communication and consultation frameworks with stakeholders including residents, staff, and external partners. Organise and attend resident meetings, seminars and working groups. Prepare clear reports and briefings for senior management, councillors, and tenants. Support and grow tenant and leaseholder panels, helping to recruit, retain and develop resident engagement. Create and deliver training materials to empower tenants and ensure staff understand participation frameworks. Ensure all engagement activities are customer-focused and represent value for money. Act as a key point of support for the team leader, helping to deliver projects to agreed timelines and standards. Ideal Candidate: Experience working within housing, community engagement, or resident involvement roles. Strong background in tenant or community participation. Excellent communication, presentation and organisational skills. Ability to engage diverse communities and manage stakeholder relationships. Comfortable with project delivery, policy development and consultation activities. Confident working independently and attending occasional evening/weekend meetings. Additional Information: Hybrid working is available. Some flexibility to work evenings/weekends will be required to attend meetings and events.
