Elevation Accountancy and Finance are delighted to be working with a fantastic Accountancy Practice in the Sheffield area as they look to recruit semi senior into their team on a full time permanent basis.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Managing and overseeing client bookkeeping, preparing complex financial statements, and engaging in various accounting and administrative tasks
2. This position requires a blend of accounting expertise, client service orientation, and a proactive approach to professional development
3. Overseeing client bookkeeping, preparation of VAT returns and managing a personal portfolio of clients
4. Preparation of complex financial statements, interim management accounts, and tax returns for businesses of varying size
5. Participation in client meetings and collaboration with directors and business owners
6. Contribution to the training and development of junior team members
7. Involvement in various accounting/administrative tasks as needed
Person Specification:
8. Proficiency in Iris, Xero, Sage Business Cloud, Sage 50 and QuickBooks is advantageous
9. Qualified by experience or AAT qualified / part-qualified ACA/ACCA
10. Demonstrate excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and communication abilities
