To maximise this opportunity, a new executive position, UK Business Commercial Director, has been created to lead the commercial business during this exciting time. Role Purpose As UK Business Commercial Director, you will define and execute the strategy for the Commercial Sales Division, aligned with the Group 2030 Strategy. You will drive the transformation of the division, championing solution-based selling to support energy transition goals. This role is pivotal in enhancing Baxi UK's market position, driving innovation in renewable energy, and strengthening customer relationships to achieve growth and profitability. Responsibilities: Develop and execute a robust strategy for commercial renewables, leveraging emerging opportunities, and collaborate with product management to create a roadmap for delivering customer-centric solutions. Oversee the sales, technical support, and specification sales teams, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives. Establish pricing strategies and optimum utilisation of technology and data to embed more effective sales processes, with the aim to increase sales productivity and grow market share. Act as a key contributor to the UK executive board, driving effective governance and aligning strategies across regional and group functions. Promote continuous improvement by refining processes, systems, and methods to enhance efficiency. Monitor financial performance to ensure adherence to budgets and achievement of revenue goals. Lead the transformation of sales teams to align with strategic objectives and adapt to market changes. Key requirements: Proven track record as a decisive, action-oriented Sales professional who has built and scaled sales in a complex market and matrix organisation. B2C and B2B sector experience gained within the energy market with strong knowledge of solution selling and the commercial building sector. Proven success in leading cultural and operational transformations. Strong leadership, people management, and negotiation skills, with experience engaging diverse stakeholders and leading cross-functional teams. Expertise in strategic planning, budget management, and implementing customer-focused, data-driven market strategies. Entrepreneurial, collaborative, and results-driven, with a passion for energy transition, customer advocacy, and driving organisational growth.
