If so, we have an opportunity for a Retail Support Coordinator to join our Retail Support team here at Basecamp, our Head Office in Urmston, Manchester.
The Retail Support Coordinator provides administrative and operational support to retail teams to ensure smooth store operations and effective communication between Basecamp (Head Office) and retail teams. This role assists in coordinating resources, tracking performance, and supporting the implementation of company initiatives across the retail division. The Retail Support Coordinator supports the UK Retail Support Manager in resolving operational issues and ensuring that all stores and concessions are aligned with company standards and best practices.
The Impact you will have in this role is:
Basecamp Support
* Concessions and retail store teams have a clear and reliable point of contact
* Queries are answered and resolved smoothly and promptly through telephone, email, or other communication platforms
* Effective communication between retail teams and Basecamp based departments such as People Team, Health & Safety, Merchandising, Distribution Centre, and Marketing is maintained
* Administrative support is efficiently provided for the whole retail estate
Stock Management and Marketing
* Stock transfers are successfully processed and tracked through to completion, with daily spreadsheets accurately updated
* Delivery discrepancies, colleagues’ uniform orders, and faulty or damaged goods reports are accurately recorded on relevant systems
* Daily orders are efficiently processed, ensuring timely facilitation of deliveries
Internal Communications
* Strong interdepartmental relationships are successfully built and maintained between retail teams and all brands within the Group
* All relevant communications are effectively cascaded to retail teams through SharePoint, Myagi, and Viva Engage
General
* Concessions and stores teams are fully compliant with company policies and procedures and queries answered
* Effective relationships are maintained with Senior Management and reasonable duties and instructions followed promptly
* Meetings regarding training, planning, or communication are attended as required, contributing to informed decision-making and strategic alignment
* Strong relationships with third parties and key management within host stores are developed, resulting in negotiated benefits such as window space and other promotional opportunities
* Contributions to the weekly newsletter providing valuable insights and updates, enhancing team communication
* Other Regional Managers and Area Support Managers are supported when required, including providing relief cover with overnight stays when necessary
As our future Retail Support Coordinator, you will have:
* At least 3 years experience within an administrative office support role
* Concise in written/ verbal communication
* Highly organised and efficient with a ‘can-do’ attitude
* Proactive and reactive
* Ability to deal with all people in all levels of the business
* Can see the bigger picture
* Sees tasks through to completion
* Self-motivated and ability to work on own initiative and without supervision
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* Enthusiastic team player and ability to work with other colleagues in a dynamic and growing business
* Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects and tasks
* Can learn and adapt to working with different systems
Systems knowledge
* Core Microsoft Office user with high degree of computer literacy and PC skills including, Excel, Word and Powerpoint
