Recruiting for: We are currently seeking an Area Manager - Cleaning to join our team to manage 10-12 sites within the London area. We have an amazing opportunity to join our team in a fast-paced environment within one of our key clients on a national cleaning contract. You will be looking after some of the most beautiful and iconic buildings in London. Key Responsibilities (Role Specification and Duties) The successful candidate will be need to have had previous cleaning management experience and will have the following key responsibilities: Line management and direction of supervisors in setting and ensuring the achievement of all business objectives detailed in the Cleaning Operational Plan. Attend monthly meetings with the Customer FM Manager Ensure that effective training of cleaning staff in cleaning methods and safe systems of work You will have the responsibility for your customer and managing their account along with administrative responsibility to ensure all aspects of each contract are met to the customer’s requirements by liaising with both suppliers and other departments. Skills & Experience/Qualifications Type of person we are looking for Essential (E) Desirable (D) Health & Safety Certification IOSH Managing safely minimum (D) BICS 1 & 2 or formal management qualifications (D) Management of similar size contract in cleaning – account and people management (E) Experience and knowledge of dealing with HR issues (E) Excellent IT skills (E) Well organised and disciplined (E) Team Player able to lead and motivate (E) Excellent customer relationship, project management skills.
