Role: Paediatric Audiologist Banding: Band 6-7 Location: Greater London Job Type: Full Time Salary: £25.00 - £37.00 per hour The AHP team at Pulse is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Band 6-7 Paediatric Audiologist to join our team in Greater London. Key Responsibilities: Undertake audiological procedures in line with existing clinical guidelines and protocols. Process and triage patient referrals in line with BSA guidelines. Run quality assurance checks on equipment and take appropriate action. Assist with the booking of patients when necessary. Maintain professional competencies and CPD. Monitor essential stocks and reorder when required. Maintain a professional, clean, and safe working environment. What We Are Looking For: Bachelor's degree in Audiology or equivalent qualification. HCPC Registration (in process). Previous experience working as an Audiologist in either NHS or private sector settings. Legal right to work in the UK. Knowledge of the Data Protection Act and Caldicott Principle. Training in infection control, manual handling, patient transfer, and health and safety awareness. What a Paediatric Audiologist Does: Conduct comprehensive hearing assessments for infants, children, and adolescents. Diagnose and manage hearing and balance disorders in children. Fit and dispense hearing aids and other assistive listening devices. Provide auditory training and speech reading programs. Educate children and their families about hearing loss and hearing aid care. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care. Monitor patients’ progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary. Maintain detailed patient records and stay updated on the latest research and advancements in paediatric audiology
