Our Bury office is looking to recruit an Office Administration Assistant / Records Clerk to support the Team.
Hours: 2 – 5 days per week (variable)
Purpose of Role: To provide a high level comprehensive administration and reception support to the Team in Bury.
Responsible to: Branch Office Manager / Partner
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Provide reception cover.
* Arrange archiving of files at the Bury office.
* Locate archived files and documents and deliver them as required.
* Arrange return of archived files for storage.
* Maintain the archived storage areas in a neat and tidy state.
* File, fax, and photocopy as required.
* Keep up to date on shredding confidential waste paper throughout the office.
* Take the banking to the bank each day.
* Input information provided by fee earners onto the database as required.
* Collect and deliver DX and Royal Mail including dealing with special and recorded deliveries.
* Assist senior staff in opening the post and distributing it as necessary.
* Perform such other tasks as the firm may require from time to time.
Knowledge / Skills:
* Communicate effectively and courteously and convey information accurately.
* Work calmly and accurately under pressure.
* Prioritize tasks.
* Work cooperatively with other staff.
* Keyboard skills would be an advantage.
* Willingness and ability to learn new technology.
