Team Description The Digital Product and Design team are responsible for the National Lottery web and app customer experience; driving improved customer satisfaction and business growth through delivery of key initiatives and innovative updates. Two areas sit within this team; Product Experience as well as UX and Design. Role Purpose: As a Digital Product Manager, you will work throughout the product development process. The role covers the process from design and UX through agile product delivery, launch and analysis. Work with your delivery scrum teams to ensure that the web and mobile app platforms provide a consistent experience, delivering new features that build best-in-class digital products for Allwyn UK. Provide a consistent point of contact for your scrum teams ensuring clarity of ‘Allwyn’ requirements. Consult and collaborate with Business stakeholders, Architecture, Security, BAs, Design, Legal, Regulations and Player Protection teams to ensure alignment and compliance in development delivery. Review user research and usability studies, collaborating with designers, developers, and business teams to deliver customer led initiatives. Driving product development to target improvement across growth, retention, acquisition and conversion. Create and contribute towards a working environment of positive relations and a culture that is inclusive, collaborative, empowering and delivery focused. You’ll be a strong, open and honest communicator, capable of quickly engaging audiences. You will always place customer needs at the heart of the product development process. Role Responsibilities: Delivery of first-class products and features that are secure, performant, reliable and help provide an engaging and safe customer experience. Work to the product development lifecycle, from planning and requirements gathering to design, development, testing, and deployment to deliver successful product feature updates. Work with BAs and Product Owners to clearly define and document requirements and create Jira stories which align to business expectations and provide the team with clarity of development expectations. Work with UX & Design to ensure designs align to business requirements and deliver great customer experiences. Work with the scrum team to refine requirements and designs, collaborating to ensure these are deliverable, making updates where needed. Own the product backlog for your team and be the gatekeeper for its prioritization ensuring the team has clarity on where to focus. Working alongside the Agile Delivery Manager to ensure the scrum team's delivery output and priorities align with business expectations and any delays or risks are noted and planned for. Work with your team to ensure any blockers are removed, mitigated or escalated in an appropriate & timely manner. Review and approve Jira stories to ensure delivery matches expectations. Work with testing team to triage defects and ensure fixes are prioritized appropriately. Work with the wider Digital Product team to identity areas for improvements and suggestions for the product roadmap Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment that encourages continuous learning and development for the team. Key Measures of Success: Team alignment – the development delivered aligns to business requirements and rework is an exception Team utilization – the scrum team have work prepared and queries resolved to enable them to work efficiently Customer satisfaction – initiatives are delivered with great usability that improves customer experience Key Skills and Experience: Experience in agile digital product management, ideally with experience in a regulated environment. A customer centric approach to problems whilst maintaining a focus on commercial metrics Demonstrable experience defining and delivering a product vision Strong communication and presentation skills to stakeholders An excellent problem solver, when faced with unexpected difficulties, you are able to solutionise - working with developers, architects and key stakeholders to drive quick outcomes Experience in usability and customer-focused design. Passion for product, design and UX and a commitment to continuous learning; building great products to solve customer and business problems. Ability to set priorities and focus teams on what is most important whilst maintaining resilience under pressure and managing multiple priorities simultaneously. Strong stakeholder management skills, able to understand and relay strategic objectives and plans and drive alignment.
