We are looking for someone to support a female adult in her 30’s with her care requirements as well as her overall health and well-being. She has complex care requirements including Oxygen, NIV, Catheter, and a specialised diet regime. Carers are expected to motivate and support her to live as independently as possible and assist with daily activities. Her shifts are 12hrs (9-9) and she lives at home with her partner on a small farmstead near Watton. She has recently received a wheelchair accessible vehicle and is excited to get back out into the community, so supporting staff will need to feel comfortable driving this and assisting her with social or medical appointments.
Support work isn’t just making cups of tea and personal care; it is about enhancing the lives of people living with emotional, physical, and sometimes complex disabilities. At Insignia Healthcare Group, we believe that everyone has the right to live a fulfilling life and reach their full potential. Although a good cup of tea does go a long way!
Are you a friendly and social person who enjoys being surrounded by inspiring individuals? Are you looking for that next step in your career or a new challenge and believe that you have the transferable skills to make a positive impact on the lives of young adults and children?
All positions can be given as a contracted fixed rota position or on a casual basis if preferred.
There is a genuine occupational requirement for the holder of this post to be female in accordance with the Health and Social Care Act 2008 (Regulated Activities) Regulations 2014 and Equality Act 2010.
