A leading fine dining restaurant group in Manchester is seeking an experienced HR Manager to oversee its people strategy, ensuring compliance, training excellence, and a structured approach to recruitment and retention. This is an exciting opportunity for a hospitality-focused HR professional to make a real impact in a growing business.
Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure legal compliance, maintain accurate personnel records, and stay up to date with employment legislation.
* Oversee recruitment, ensuring vacancies are advertised in line with brand guidelines and exploring new talent pipelines.
* Develop and implement structured onboarding and retention strategies to improve employee retention beyond three months.
* Work closely with the H&S Manager to ensure training policies, procedures, and audits are compliant and up to date.
* Support managers in handling performance issues, disciplinaries, and investigations in line with statutory guidance.
* Coordinate external training providers and research industry best practices to enhance development programs.
* Conduct HR and training audits, report key findings to senior leadership, and provide regular headcount updates.
* Standardise HR processes across all sites, including uniform policies, performance reviews, and employee records management.
Candidate Requirements:
* Hospitality experience is essential – a strong understanding of the fast-paced nature of restaurants is required.
* CIPD (Level 5 and above)
* Strong knowledge of employment law, compliance, and H&S policies.
* A hands-on approach with the ability to work across multiple sites and support managers effectively.
