Job Title: Property Building / Project Manager (Refurbishment / Development) - Client Side Leisure
Overview:
My client is a leading player in the licensed leisure industry with a strong portfolio of pubs, restaurants, and boutique hotels. We are seeking a highly motivated Building / Project Manager to oversee the development and refurbishment of its extensive property portfolio within the southeast.
Responsibilities:
* Strategic Planning: Develop and implement annual development programs and budgets in collaboration with the Head of Property.
* Project Management: Coordinate and manage major development projects, including budgeting, specification, and supervision of works.
* Financial Management: Prepare and manage project budgets, ensuring cost-effective execution and value for money.
* Compliance: Ensure adherence to all statutory regulations, including planning, environmental health, health and safety, and building regulations.
* Procurement: Manage external consultants and contractors to secure the best value and quality services.
* Refurbishments: Oversee refurbishment projects, minimizing closures and maximizing efficiency.
* Dilapidations: Prepare schedules of dilapidations and negotiate subsequent works.
Requirements:
* Relevant construction qualification and experience in managing programs and budgets.
* Strong project management skills, including budgeting, planning, and execution.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
