The on target earning potential for this role is £33,012 per annum - comprising a base salary of £25,512 plus a qualified estimate of £7,500 annually in gratuities and service charge. Here's a bit more detail on what we see you doing in this role: Responsible for the daily management of our host team of 8, you’ll be allocating duties and providing support to our outlets around the estate Leading our Host operation, setting the highest service standards and carrying out the full range of daily administrative tasks You’ll lead from the front, always delivering a warm and memorable welcome to all our hotel guests, helping to make their experience in The Strathearn restaurant exceptional Playing a significant part in making sure our operation runs without a hitch; managing queues efficiently and ensuring our guests are attended swiftly and professionally Using your exceptional restaurant reservation skills, you’ll forward plan table allocations, maximising the usage of the restaurant space and efficiency of service You’ll be responsible for highlighting VIP guests to the team on a daily basis and any specific bespoke and dietary requirements Maintaining the highest standards of service, room preparation and presentation throughout service Highly proficient in menu editing, you’ll have responsibility for ensuring our menus are expertly maintained and edited You’ll ensure all new Host team members are welcomed to the team, making their induction smooth and informative with outstanding training You’ll build excellent knowledge of the wider estate and the facilities available to our guests, proactively sharing this at every opportunity Interacting with our guests, always warm, professional, helpful and doing everything you can to exceed their expectations; playing your part in making their stay with us luxurious in every way The kind of person we're looking for: You have fantastic customer service skills, ideally honed within luxury hospitality, however having a great attitude and thriving in a busy environment are essential Proficient in systems such as excel, inDesign and restaurant booking platforms, you know exactly how to navigate these and secure the best possible outputs Your perspective and approach are always fresh; no matter how many times an issue has been presented to you, to your guest it’s the first time Determined to be the best and work with the best, you want to learn from the experts in our team and share your knowledge with us Your resilience and ability to deal with fast-paced environments is high, you always have an organised approach and willingness to consistently exceed our guest expectations Highly motivated and possessing an immense sense of pride in your work; you're passionate about delivering the high standards for our guests in line with the Gleneagles brand You have a positive “can do” attitude to solving problems in a professional and courteous manner A strong team player with great communication skills and an enthusiastic approach; you're well organised and punctual with an eagle eye for detail You want to be part of a team that works hard, supports each other and above all has fun along the way What’s in it for you: Time to let your hair down 30 days holiday (including bank holidays) that increases with service Seasonal parties and local social events 50% discount on Food & Beverage, Country Pursuits, Spa and Hair Salon (Mon-Thurs) and the Golf Driving Range Golf Membership (with access to all 3 championship courses) for £50.00 per annum Treats in your pocket Flexi points into yourPerkbox wallet to spend as you choose.
