This role focuses on building and maintaining high-quality cross-platform mobile applications using Flutter. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in mobile app development, team leadership, and platform management.What will I be doing?nFlutter Development Expertise: Lead the architectural design and implementation of Flutter applications, ensuring code quality, reusability, and maintainability. Champion the use of Flutter within the team, promoting best practices and adopting new features and improvements.nMobile Development Leadership: Lead the mobile development team in designing, developing, and maintaining cross-platform mobile applications. Ensure that mobile applications are scalable, performant, and provide an excellent user experience.nPlatform Management: Oversee the deployment and management of mobile applications on both the Google Play Store and Apple App Store. Ensure compliance with app store guidelines, policies, and best practices.nStakeholder Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for mobile development-related inquiries, providing regular updates to senior management and stakeholders. Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.nTeam Leadership and Collaboration: Lead, mentor, and support a team of mobile developers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement. Conduct regular code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.nTechnical Knowledge: Maintain a solid understanding of Google Android and Apple iOS operating systems, including their architecture, APIs, and development tools, to support Flutter integration and platform-specific requirements.nWhat do I need?nStrong and demonstrable experience within mobile app development, focusing on cross-platform development using Flutter.nExtensive experience in building and maintaining cross-platform mobile applications using Flutter and Dart, with in-depth knowledge of Flutter widgets, state management techniques, and best practices for scalable and maintainable applications.nStrong understanding of mobile application architecture and design patterns, along with proven experience with the Google Play Store and Apple App Store submission processes.nExcellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify, nurture, and scale new opportunities.nCreative, innovative, and strategic thinker who can see the big picture and focus on details, while being persuasive and resilient under pressure.nAdaptable and flexible, with strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate and collaborate with various stakeholders, and the ability to prioritise, manage, and deliver under tight or conflicting deadlines.nAdditional informationWe’re always looking to recognise and reward our employees for the work they do.
