Role Overview:
As the Global Head of Communications, you will play a key leadership role in shaping the narrative around our brand as we scale globally. You will be responsible for developing and executing a robust communications strategy to build brand awareness, manage public perception, and establish a differentiated brand voice that resonates with our audience.
Requirements
Build and Scale Global Communications Strategy:
1. Design and implement a comprehensive global communications strategy that enhances our external brand awareness and maintains positive perceptions across all markets.
2. Establish and grow key external communication mechanisms and channels to ensure consistent and strategic messaging to all stakeholders.
Brand Differentiation and Positioning:
1. Lead the development of a unique and differentiated brand identity through market and user research, competitor analysis, and insight gathering to ensure our messaging stands out in a crowded market.
2. Use data-driven insights to inform and guide the creation of a compelling brand narrative that resonates with users and customers across different regions and markets.
Global Brand Awareness Campaigns:
1. Develop and execute high-impact global PR and branding campaigns that resonate with diverse audiences, positioning Zeal Group as a leader in its space.
2. Work closely with the marketing and digital teams to ensure alignment between external communications and overall brand strategy.
Reputation Management:
1. Manage external communications during crisis or high-stakes events, ensuring clear, transparent messaging that protects the company's reputation.
2. Proactively plan for potential risks and lead communication efforts to safeguard brand reputation in moments of crisis.
Team Leadership and Agency Management:
1. Lead and manage a global team of communications professionals, ensuring they have the resources, direction, and support to execute external communication initiatives effectively.
2. Oversee and collaborate with external PR agencies and consultants to amplify brand messaging and manage key global initiatives.
Qualifications:
Experience:
1. 8+ years of experience in external communications, public relations, or brand strategy, with at least 5 years in senior leadership roles at fast-growing global companies.
2. Proven track record of building and scaling brand awareness from scratch, particularly in dynamic, high-growth sectors like fintech, gaming, crypto, or tech.
3. Experience in market and user research, with a deep understanding of how to create and establish differentiated brand messaging.
4. Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations or Marketing.
