This is a global benchmark that recognises employers who create an outstanding employee experience Role overview As our service continues to grow, we are looking for a new Heathcare Assistant to join our Shrewsbury site. This could be either on a part time or full time basis per week including weekends on a rota basis. The Healthcare Assistant will have an active role in the theatre pathway, working with patients and the full multidisciplinary team to ensure a safe and successful patient journey. The Healthcare Assistant role is varied and training will be provided in all areas. Once established within the role, the Healthcare Worker will have the opportunity to move forward into formal scrub training program supported by Newmedica. We need someone who is process driven and also incredibly patient focused. They will need to put patients at ease whilst also maintaining a high level of accuracy in record keeping and documentation. What skills and experience do I need? We’ll provide training so experience isn’t always needed, but the following things will be advantageous: Previous experience of working with patients or in a customer facing role Knowledge of eye physiology and treatment or a keen interest to build knowledge in this area A competent user of all Office 365 programmes & comfortable working on new systems such as patient record systems or diagnostic programmes.
